The orange gerbera daisy is perfect for truly any occasion: From weddings and anniversaries to birthdays and fundraisers, this perfectly symmetrical flower with the burst of orange color is a great choice for every festivity that life brings.

The orange gerbera daisy is a customer favorite here at Blooms by the Box. Why? Because they’re easy to work with, long-lasting and have a brilliant orange color that our customers love to incorporate into their bouquets, centerpieces, and flower arrangements. They are commonly used during autumn events with other fall-colored flowers and are a favorite for autumn weddings to use for a pop of color. They really do help you celebrate life!

Although this is a hearty, long-lasting flower, we recommend the use of gerbera sleeves with your daisies to support their stems. It’s also important to note that your orange gerbera daisy flowers should be kept away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, as well as fruits and vegetables. (The produce’s ethylene gas output will cause your daisies to mature faster.)

Special Care & Suggestions

Sometimes, bacteria will block the gerbera stems and the flower will begin to wilt. Change the water every 24-48 hours to prevent this from happening. Use gerbera sleeves to support their stems. Orange gerbera daisies are beautiful when used alone or added to other flower varieties. When used alone, pair with filler greens, such as lemon leaf, ferns, and hanging green amaranthus. Also add sprays of baby’s breath to add a frothy, full look to your arrangements. Orange gerbera daisies are gorgeous when paired with other gerbera daisies. For a bright, happy arrangement, consider adding hot pink, yellow and orange gerbera daisies to an arrangement for a cheerful, memorable look.
